On this next Saturday the 28th of October, the Brass Armadillo will be hosting a presentation from 3:00PM to 6:00PM. “Día de los Muertos” is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and by people of Mexican ancestry living in other places – especially the United States. The multi-day holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for friends and family members who have died, and help support their spiritual journey. We will have treats and information available about Halloween past and some of the cultures that have influenced it into what it is today. Celtic and American cultures have also influenced the holiday for many years along with many other cultures. Come on in, it will be a great time. We will be adding some of the interesting history to this Blog in the near future. Hope to see you there it will be Spooktacular.
